Prior to enrolling in grad school, Megan had worked as a fisheries biology technician with Anishinaabe of Kabapikotawangag Resource Council, one of two tribal councils representing First Nations communities around the north end of Lake of the Woods. Through AKRC, she was involved in the CGRF-supported project Historical Analysis of Lake Sturgeon in the Winnipeg River<\/i>.<\/p>\n
